Belly Dance Decorative Coin Trim
Our Belly Dance Decorative Coin Trim is ideal for making belly dance costumes, harem outfits, or any other costume that needs the jingle of decorative coins! Customers even use this as trim for scarves for dance classes. The trim adds some weight to the hip area when performing dance moves. Scarves can be wrapped around the waist, hips or head in various dance classes, depending on the type of dance or tribal costume you desire.
The Belly Dance Decorative Coin Trim measures approximately 3½” (90 mm) in width and is available in both Gold and Silver metallic finishes. The trim features a scalloped tape at the top, to give you plenty of room to attach to your garment. The decorative coins hang freely, at alternating lengths, with 3 matching beads.
This product is sold by the metre or part metre. To decorate a hip belt, measure the the hip and add few inches for turn-under or overlap. If you are making a scarf, determine how many ends you want to trim. Simply add up the length of the sides you wish to cover and add a few inches for turning the corners. That will determine the amount you need.
The Belly Dance Decorative Coin Trim is available in both Gold and Silver metallic finishes. The trim features a matching scalloped tape at the top, for easy attachment to your garment. The trim also features matching beads. The gold and silver trim blends or co-ordinates with virtually any fabric used for dance or stage.
How to Use:
The Coin Trim can be sewn to the a belly dance “saddle” or hip belt, by hand sewing the trim to the edge. The trim can also be machine stitched the trim to fabric. Use a zig-zag stitch on the tope fabric section attached to the hanging coins.
