Serger Jacket – Master Your Serger!

Serger Jacket

If your serger is hiding in a closet, this class could be for you!  There two very good reasons to take this coarse.  First you will become friends with your serger, which means you will understand how it works and how solve  the issues that are common to these machines.  The other reason is the beautiful and stylish jacket you will wear home at the end.

To get started, you will learn and practice threading a serger, as well as 3 or 4 thread overlock stitching and hem finishes for a more professional look.

I am absolutely thrilled with my experience at Bra-Makers Supply. I took the 2 day Beginner Bra 101 with Beverley and Denise. While Beverley did my fitting and altered my pattern (which resulted in a perfect fit), Denise patiently walked all of us through each step of construction. Her instructions were detailed and offered extra bits of information not found in the pattern booklet. Any anomaly in my bra was due to not following instructions as closely as I had been directed. And now I know how to do better next time. I have a fair amount of experience with sewing and building various types of garments, and am happy to be adding a new skill set to my repertoire. I haven’t been this excited about something for quite some time!! One step closer to being able to build my entire wardrobe! Thanks so much Denise and Beverley.

Was in the November beginner bra class, and made a great bra – finally, a bra that fits! Great class, lots of support for the search for the holy grail, that is a great bra – and lots of inspiration for more creative versions. Can’t wait to do another class…… Highly recommend it for all who aspire to a custom foundation garment – yay Bev and team!
