Cotton Boning Casing

Our Cotton Boning Casing is made from a strong cotton twill fabric. The casing is pre-sewn on both sides, to create a strong fabric casing. Customers use the Cotton Boning Casing to make corsets, bustiers, and foundation garments. The casing is simple to use, avoiding the need to make your own casing. This product is ideal for those using metal boning, as this thick casing will protect the skin from the boning.

The casing has an internal width of ⅜” (9 mm) and is ideal for ¼” (6 mm) – ⅜” (9 mm) wide boning. Use this product with our Lightweight Flat Spring Steel Boning, our Heavyweight Flat Spring Steel Boning, our pre-cut Spiral Boning sold by the pair, or our Spiral Boning Metal sold by the metre.

The casing is simple to use, simply top stitch to the desired area, sewing over the existing stitching of the casing.

The Cotton Boning Casing is available in both White and Black. Choose the colour that best matches your fabric or lining.

How to Use:

The Cotton Boning Casing is ideal for making corsets, bustiers, and foundation garments. The casing is made from a strong cotton twill, making it ideal for use with metal boning. The casing is simple to apply. Cut the casing to the desired length. Then, top stitch the casing to your garment, using the existing stitching on the casing as a guide. Simply slide your boning in between the layers and seal at the top and bottom with your trim or binding.

The casing is made from a heavy cotton twill fabric, engineered for strength and durability. This product is intended for use on the inside of the garment.
