Our Nylon Spandex Tricot Stretch Fabric is made from 90% Nylon/10% Spandex. The fabric features a dull shine, not as shiny as satin. Not only is the fabric available in many colours, it is extremely easy to work with and to sew. You will find the weight and stretch qualities of this fabric to be among the easiest knits to sew, provided you are using a stretch needle size 75. You should also use a lighter pressure on your presser foot. If you are able to adjust the pressure, it helps to keep the seam from stretching or creeping as you sew. We have used machines without adjustable pressure and this fabric is still easy to sew!
Available in 14 beautiful colours. Our Nylon Spandex matches many colours of our Duoplex, Stretch Mesh, 15 Denier Sheer, and Cotton Spandex. 58-60 inches (147-150 cm) wide 90% nylon and 10% spandex. Stretches in both the lengthwise and crosswise directions.
