The Lace Trim Organic Cotton Panty Kit is pre-packaged to go along with the Craftsy class, Sewing Panties. It’s a complete kit for your sewing pleasure with enough lace to finish the leglines and waistband.  This kit is made specifically for  our Panty Basics pattern which is available separately. If you have taken the Craftsy class and drafted your own pattern, this kit is enough for the drafted version too. You’ll have enough material for one pair for hip sizes 32″-54″ (81-137 cm). Smaller sizes may get two pair from this amount of fabric.

Organic Cotton Jersey Fabric

Our Organic Cotton Jersey Fabric is a lightweight, all-cotton single knit. This is a classic fabric for intimate apparel or underwear of any kind. Our customers use this Cotton Jersey Fabric as a gusset lining in panties. However, this fabric also makes a wonderfully comfortable cup lining, for those with sensitive skin. Customers also use the fabric to make lighter panties, tank tops, and T-shirts. The fabric is made from 100% Organic Cotton and is very soft against the skin. The fabric is 58-60″ (147-150 cm) wide, with mechanical give in the crosswise direction only.

We advise washing the fabric before use, as it is 100% cotton and it will shrink 2-3%. Simply wash the fabric in hot water and throw it in the dryer. This will pre-shrink the fabric.

A tip to keep the fabric from curling after pre-shrinking – before washing the Organic Cotton, serge across the ends of the fabric folded in half. This prevents tangling in the washer or dryer. The serged ends are simply cut off, without wasting much fabric.
