Plastic Garter Clips Suspender Clips

Whether making garter belts or merry-widows, you will need a set of Garter Clips Suspender Clips to complete your creation. We carry a variety of Plastic Garter Clips to fit both your budget and the finished look you want to achieve. Garter clips are ½” (12 mm), use with ½” (12 mm) elastic. For garments that will be worn more often or experience more stress, we recommend using our Metal Garter Clips.

Customers using Suspender Clips need to consider the end use of the garment. We generally prefer the metal clips, they are stronger and will last much longer. For garments that are either going to be worn often or put under stress, we recommend using the metal clips. We carry 2 widths of metal clips, ½” and ¾”. The metal clips are all nickel plated. The ½” width is available with a clear plastic inner button. The ¾” width is available with either a clear or black plastic inner button. Our customers generally use our Satin Strap Elastic to make garters; however, many of our other strap elastics are also appropriate.

For garments that are going to be worn once in a while and are not going to experience stress, the plastic Garter Clips will work. Use ½” (12 mm) elastic. The plastic clips are also available in 4 colours, Clear with Clear inner button, White with Clear inner button and Beige with Beige inner button.

Garter Clips are available in packages of 4 (enough for a garment with 4 garters) or bulk bags of 100 clips.

Uses:

Our Garter Clips Suspender Clips can be used for any garment that requires a functional clip to attach stockings. Our customers use these clips to make garter belts and merry-widows, as well as corsets and waist cinchers. All clips are ½” (12 mm) in width.

In combination with any ½” wide strap elastic, make garters in a variety of colours. Detachable garters can also be made by attaching a loop to the garment and a G-Hook to the garter.
